A world map reflecting mid-fifteenth century geographical
knowledge, drawn in typical medieval format, but with south at
the top. It has abundance of detail, some based on contemporary
travels, but also reflecting traditional legend. Sheets 26
–28 and
32
–41 pertain to Russia, including parts of China.
