Further east on the map, the shape of India is very small, while "Taprobana" (Ceylon) is huge.

Ptolemy

The easternmost part of Asia has Chacais and Mangi north of India Superiore. Java Major lies to the south. The island Zipangri (Japan) is to the east along the Tropic of Cancer. Much of this geography derives from Ptolemy.
